A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced teacher to take on a leadership role in our brand-new, state-of-the-art, Y1–2 learning studio, Te Kākano.
Would you like to play a part in a shift in educational direction, and support the development of our modern learning practice (MLP)?
The final stage of our school rebuild opened this year and we need someone to lead us forward in this new environment. You will be leading a new team and have the opportunity to build systems from the ground up. That said we would like to see an emphasis of ‘play-based’ programmes at this level of our school.
This position would suit either upcoming or existing education leaders.
Our ideal applicants would be positive, caring teachers who can step outside their comfort zone, empower students, listen to and guide their team.
Your team will include yourself and 2/3 other teachers and a teacher aide.
You are most welcome to book a visit to the school in advance of applying for this position.
Position commences in term 1, 2020.
