We invite applications from leaders in education with a passion for effective curriculum design and delivery to join us at Te Kura. You’ll be a key part of our dedicated regional and overseas and early childhood teams who work alongside our ākonga (students) to achieve successful outcomes.
One regional leader of learning will be based in each of our regions – Northern (Auckland), Central North (Hamilton), Central South (Wellington), Southern (Christchurch) and Overseas and Early Childhood (Wellington).
We are keen to hear from people who are excited about working as an integral part of our new curriculum team structure which has been designed to best meet ākonga and whānau needs.
This role offers exciting opportunities to lead, influence and support ongoing development in kaiako (teacher) thinking and practice across all levels of curriculum delivery at Te Kura, including early childhood. You’ll lead in-region Big Picture inquiry development and provide support for key Ministry of Education initiatives including learning support, success for Māori students and success for Pacific students.
There is a 0.2 FTE teaching component to this role, confirmed annually in consultation with the appropriate regional manager in response to identified regional needs.
