We are a coeducational school with a roll of approximately 1,600 students and were established in 1883.

Cambridge is in the heart of the Waikato region and has recently become a focus for elite sport with cycling, triathlon, kayaking and rowing establishing their New Zealand bases here.

Our school serves the interests of the community incredibly well, meeting the academic, trades, cultural and sporting needs of a range of students. Places are highly sought-after with families choosing to move into town to gain access to the school.

Due to an increase in our roll, we seek an innovative, energetic and relationship-focused health and physical education teacher to join our faculty from the beginning of 2020. This is a fixed-term position for the 2020 school year.

The ideal candidate will have experience teaching at both junior and senior level and have the ability to maximise the potential of all students. The applicant will demonstrate familiarity with the New Zealand Curriculum, NCEA and the skills to use ICT to enhance learning outcomes.
