We are seeking a teacher with the ability to add to our team in a child-centred, warm and caring school. The successful applicant must have relationship skills first and foremost and a desire to create long-term systemic change in the lives of our tamariki. Trauma-informed practice and a Te Ao Māori-focused approach to learning is what we base our kaupapa akonga on so a strength-based mentality is required.

Our kaiako and kaiawhina have strong work ethics and an ahua of camaraderie and support for each other and you will need to share your time, talents and energies collectively to further enhance the wairua that exists. This role will require that you make positive connections with the local early childhood centres and their whānau.

Strengths in play-based learning and Te Whāriki curriculum, te reo me ona tikanga Māori, music, EOTC and sports are an advantage.
