We are seeking to appoint a talented, experienced classroom teacher with a vision and passion for teaching and learning, to join our senior syndicate team, commencing January 2020.

There is the potential for this candidate to apply for a 1 year fixed-term senior syndicate dean position (2MU and a time allowance). The dean’s position is a pastoral role, to support the students and teachers in the syndicate. Please indicate in your application if you are interested in this role.

Knowledge of the IB Primary Years Programme and Independent Schools’ education would be advantageous but not absolutely essential. 

Applicants should have:

  • A passion for boys’ education
  • The ability to manage and motivate boys
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Understanding of restorative practice
  • Adequate IT experience to deliver a 1:1 programme
  • Experience and excellence in educational practice e.g. inquiry-based learning, assessment, computational thinking, innovation etc
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, in particular with college families
  • Experience in coaching and managing various sporting teams
  • A commitment to our special character and co-curricular programmes.
