We are a small, rural full primary school with a stable roll of 46 children.

Located only 45 minutes from Christchurch, our community is set amongst the thriving wine and farming region of the Hurunui, North Canterbury.

There is a school house available.

Our school has a long-serving, experienced leadership team, who pride themselves in the development of their valued teaching staff, along with setting high standards, which has led to our school achieving excellent outcomes of educational achievement.

Due to a maternity leave resignation, we are now looking for a permanent Scale A teacher to join our small team of dedicated professionals to commence term 1, 2020.

To be successful, you will be a teaching professional with enough experience to be able to demonstrate sound knowledge of the NZ Curriculum, in addition to past success in the planning and implementation of effective learning programmes that cater for a variety of learning styles. Teaching experience in the senior end of the school is advantageous.

Additionally, you will be someone confident in engaging with parents and community alike and enjoy being part of a small but supportive community.

Please visit our website for further information about our school.
