Are you passionate about performing arts? 

We require a highly motivated teacher interested in creating and implementing an innovative practical programme for Y1–6 students.

The successful applicant will teach a specialist programme involving music, dance and drama.  You must have outstanding communication skills, the ability to lead and drive the performing arts across the school.  Baverstock Oaks has a very supportive collegial environment and a commitment to growing effective leaders.

This is a fixed-term position for 2020 with the possibility of being permanent in the future.

There will be specific responsibilities attached to this role:

  • Lead and support choreography of dances for HPPA dance festival
  • Manage the arts budget and lead this curriculum area
  • Lead and train choirs for external performances
  • Plan, organise and support school productions, showcases
  • Planned opportunities for dance and drama, through GATE clubs, lunchtime clubs and / or external performance groups
