Commencing term 1, 2020.

The learning support coordinator (LSC) role is one of the 9 Whakatāne Kāhui Ako positions. The purpose of the LSC is to ensure that children and young people with additional learning needs have access to the services they need.

Our LSC will focus on supporting children, whānau and staff with the development of the learning support delivery model. This role will have a specific focus on engaging whānau in their child’s learning.

Our school welcomes applications for the above position from committed teachers conversant with the New Zealand Curriculum. Successful applicants will need to actively participate in teaching as inquiry, commit to the school’s restorative culture and contribute to the full extracurricular programme.
