Are you up for an exciting new challenge, building meaningful relationships with the community and working with agencies to support student learning? The LSC will be a fully registered teacher and support all children who have additional learning needs (including gifted and talented) to enable them to access the services they need to progress.

The following MOE link will provide additional information about the role:

 Applicants will have the ability to:

  • Lead our learning support programme – assist with development of programmes and pastoral care, in consultation with the leadership team, outside agencies, whānau and classroom teachers
  • Be responsible for data collection and ongoing monitoring of students on the learning support register, including gifted and talented
  • Assist with the development of appropriate programmes, as required to support the individual needs of the special needs students within classrooms
  • Work with other LSCs across the cluster, and connect with the learning support facilitator and wider agencies, such as Oranga Tamariki – Ministry for Children, to access services and resources to support learners.
