We are seeking a passionate teacher, with a growth mindframe, who will thrive working in an ILE. This teacher will be focused on developing learner agency and will be committed to being part of a collaborative team environment.
We will be looking for sound literacy, mathematical and inquiry skills as well as a desire to make a difference in a child’s learning. An ability to foster positive relationships with our tamariki, whānau and colleagues is essential.
As a competent and effective teacher you will:
Be driven to enhance wellbeing within our team
Be an outstanding practitioner with strong, current pedagogical, curriculum and assessment knowledge, particularly in literacy and mathematics
Have proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with all members of a school team
Promote and embrace innovative and inclusive learning space practices, support student behaviour in positive, restorative and purposeful ways
Have knowledge of and commitment to the principles of collaborative and innovative teaching and learning practices
Demonstrate strong administrative skills and exceptional communication abilities to maintain appropriate networks at all levels.
