Scale A teacher. This is a permanent position with no classroom component.

The LSC will work directly with 3 highly effective, Y1–8 rural schools (Paparimu, Bombay and Ararimu) in Franklin District. The schools are part of a wider network of 11 Pukekohe Community of Learning LSC roles.

The LSC will support all children who have additional learning needs (including gifted and talented) to enable them to access the services they need to progress, in ways that recognise their abilities, language and culture. They will also work closely with whānau, school staff and external agencies.

The successful applicant will have a proven record as a quality classroom practitioner and the ability to communicate and engage positively with staff, students, whānau and various agencies. The role will start term 1, 2020.
