We seek an experienced teaching principal or a senior teacher with leadership and management experience, to lead our well-resourced, Catholic integrated school of Y0–8 students.

The successful applicant must be an enthusiastic, self-motivated classroom teacher experienced in working with multilevel year groups. 

A sense of humour is essential, as is the ability to create a happy and positive environment

An understanding of the challenges facing students, including Māori and ESOL, and a commitment to ensuring the best possible outcomes for all students is essential.

Kaponga is a small town within a supportive rural district enjoying a close relationship with the community and parish.

A school house is available.

A willingness and ability to take part in religious instruction appropriate to the special character of the school is a condition of appointment.

Start date is term 1, 2020.
