We are a coeducational high school with 500+ students, located on the harbour of New Zealand’s education capital – Dunedin.

We are seeking an experienced and effective educational leader to build on the solid foundations created by a period of growth. We are proud of our school's caring, settled and inclusive environment, in which high standards and a focus on individual excellence have led to a well-deserved reputation for student success.

We offer a wide range of educational and extracurricular opportunities for students, while maintaining small class sizes. We are about to undertake a multi-million dollar property improvement programme which will enhance our facilities.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior manager with:

  • A commitment to fostering the school’s particular areas of strength while encouraging curriculum-wide excellence
  • Experience in restorative practices and PB4L
  • Experience in leading culturally responsive practices and a demonstrated understanding of Māoritanga and Te Tiriti o Waitangi, including a sound level of competency in te reo Māori
  • Effective and fair people leadership skills
  • A genuine and caring personality
  • A student-centred vision.

We welcome applications from educational leaders who are passionate about our values: Respect, Integrity, Service and Excellence.
