The teacher we are seeking will have experience working with students who have difficulty with emotional regulation and students who present with challenging behaviours. This person will be able to successfully use their knowledge and skills to de-escalate students as well as work with or lead a team of people to support the de-escalation process.

Start date 27 January 2020.

Our learners thrive when positive relationships are developed. To work effectively with our learners you will be a relationship-based teacher who values diversity, has excellent communication skills, a great sense of humour and see yourself as a learner. The person we seek will be able to work collaboratively within and across teaching teams, will be motivated to research new and relevant information, have the skillset to share information in an accessible way to both students and staff and have the ability to maintain, evolve and develop reporting systems.
