Early intervention teacher

We are a not-for-profit early intervention provider in Christchurch supporting a range of children birth to school age across a number of early childhood settings. We are seeking a dynamic early intervention teacher to join our centre-based early intervention team. This position can be part or full-time depending on the ideal applicant.

The applicant will be a team player, show initiative, be flexible, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work effectively with children and their families and other professionals across a diverse range of settings. The ability to understand and apply the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and have a knowledge of child development, learning and behaviour.

You will hold a minimum of a BEd/Dip Tch (ECE) and a postgraduate Diploma in Specialist Teaching (Early Intervention) or the ability to attain this within 4 years of beginning in the position.
