Listed 9:18 am 03 September 2019

We are looking for a primary-trained teacher with a love of science and/or social sciences. Someone who has a passion for education for sustainability and recognises the importance of teaching being responsive and relevant would be a perfect fit for this vacancy. Being able to speak te reo Māori at any level would be an advantage. We have an expectation that numeracy and literacy skills would be incorporated into the teaching of these curriculum areas.

We are moving to a specialist teaching model for 2020. All teachers will have a homeroom and will teach their specialist subject across the school. This reduces class sizes and allows teachers to teach their passion while engaging students in a curriculum that is differentiated and inspiring.

If you would like to work in a caring environment with a fun-loving staff, and students who have a love of learning, please pop in for a visit to find out more about this vacancy.

The right person for this role will help us to develop and deliver our school curriculum in science or social sciences. Please state your strength or interest.
