We are moving into a brand-new school in April so experience of leading staff, students and whānau with change, in flexible learning environments is very important.
You would need to be future-focused, a strategic thinker, with the ability to both inspire and lead change. Commitment to the principles of Te Tiriti Waitangi and culturally sustaining practice, strong curriculum and pedagogical knowledge, along with schoolwide pastoral care and coordinating learning support are integral parts of this role. Strengths in implementing effective systems, inquiry and assessment are a bonus. A sense of humour and commitment to creating the very best teaching and learning environment is essential.
This role will be approximately 0.6 released and 0.4 teaching and will come with 3 permanent units.
We are currently based at Van Asch College, Truro St, Sumner, Christchurch, with the move to our new school on Main Rd, Redcliffs imminent in April 2020.
