We are an early learning centre for children aged 0–5 years based in Dunedin.
We pride ourselves on providing high-quality educational environments, a progressive approach to early learning, including inspiring experiences, and a collaborative approach to achieving positive outcomes for our children, families and staff.
Our curriculum is delivered to suit the needs and interests of our children and includes a combination of play-based, skills-based and intentional teaching experiences. The majority of our U2 programme is centred around play-based experiences and provocations, whereas our O2 programme starts combining some Montessori approaches, and intentional 'topics', including a transition-to-school programme for our older children. We provide teachers with a comprehensive mentoring programme and it is therefore not a requirement for potential applicants to have experience in using Montessori or intentional approaches.
We believe that positive leadership ensures our staff feel valued and are willing to commit to a shared vision. We are committed to creating an environment where there is a high degree of trust, mutual respect and ongoing support.
We have low ratios, excellent professional development opportunities, a generous resources budget and a supportive management team consisting of an operations manager, education manager and HR manager. All of our teachers receive an iPad, up to 5 hours of non-contact per week and competitive remuneration.
We are currently looking for a kind, nurturing, passionate and inspiring teacher who is excited about the prospect of being part of our progressive centre. If interested please apply.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you require further information.
