We are seeking a passionate and energetic qualified teacher to join our brand-new team at Ruahine Kindergarten Association’s (RKA’s) fresh, central city based centre. RKA is a not-for-profit organisation with a child-centred approach. We are excited to offer an opportunity for a teacher to join the O2s section of our community-based early learning centre. This is an ideal opportunity for newly graduated teachers.
You will be a team player with a real passion for tamariki and their whānau, working closely with the community, and a deep understanding of bicultural and sustainable practices. Moreover, you will need to be fully qualified and registered with a current first aid certificate. However, support with a PCT journey would be provided to the right applicant.
Working within the RKA means you will have access to outstanding ongoing professional support and the resources to provide an amazing experience for children and community in a true ‘not-for-profit’ environment. Please note these positions are offered under individual employment agreements.
In return RKA will welcome you as a valued member of our extended whānau while offering: quality continuous professional development that is second to none; 5 weeks' annual leave; 10 days' sick leave per annum; a generous 5 hours of non-contact per week; 5 teacher-only days per annum; 7 days' paid PD plus additional paid PD opportunities and competitive remuneration. Sound like your cup of tea? Don’t hesitate, apply now by completing the teacher application process on our website.
