We are a designated character school for male secondary students, from Y11–13. Located in beautiful Hawke's Bay, the academy has a focus on providing a link between education and future employment through vocational pathways. The academy operates small class sizes, and has a very supportive staff environment, including strong pastoral care support for students.

We are seeking a passionate, positive and engaging registered teacher to join our learning community. 

Applicants will have experience in the following: career guidance, vocational pathway delivery including civil construction, and speciality sport coaching in Ngā Taonga Taakaro.

Strong te reo Māori and Tikanga Māori knowledge is essential.

The successful applicant will be enthusiastic about working with youth and have the skills and mindset to facilitate all manner of learning with predominantly Māori and Pasifika students.
