Be a part of building a dynamic start-up early learning service that will positively disrupt the early childhood sector in New Zealand!

We are seeking a passionate and inspirational champion of early learning to join our small start-up team of early childhood specialists in Hawke's Bay.

This role will be immediately invested in growing networks and relationships in the Hawke's Bay region, scouting for new talent, preparing for licensing processes and supporting the start-up of a new, unique home-based early childhood education and care service.

Once the service is established, this role will oversee the delivery of early learning programmes and curriculum by visiting educators and children in the homes where care is taking place. It will hold responsibility for the ongoing schooling, support and professional learning and development of educators to ensure high-quality learning outcomes for children in care.

We would love to hear from you if you are an experienced early childhood education leader, with a BEd (ECE) and a current Teaching Council practising certificate.

If you are our ideal candidate, you will have a background in supporting home-based early childhood education and care, a strong knowledge of current early learning theories and practices and a dedication to applying Te Tiriti o Waitangi and te reo and tikanga Māori in everyday programme delivery. You will have a passion for play-based learning and the positive contribution it makes to a child’s holistic wellbeing and development. Above all else, you will be dedicated to delivering high-quality outcomes that enable tamariki to reach their full potential through authentic and meaningful relationships.

If this sounds like you, make your mark on the early learning sector and apply now!
