This is the ideal position for the right person. If you're interested in te ao Māori, teaching English to fluent Māori speakers, passionate about reading and writing, passionate about inquiry learning, the environment, situational and contextual learning – this is the position for you. Our student numbers are small and the opportunity for development is huge!

We're looking for someone who is prepared to think and teach 'outside the square', someone who wants to inspire and positively shape young, indigenous minds. You need to also have a passion for mātauranga Māori, indigenous ways of thinking, doing and being and have an affinity with guardianship (kaitiakitanga). We support and encourage EOTC.

Knowledge of NCEA is essential. Knowledge of ESOL is an advantage. Knowledge of te reo Māori is preferred. The person will teach NCEA Levels 1–3 and the coolest introductory programme at Y9 and 10 – small numbers!
