  • Excellent opportunity for an experienced leader to create their legacy and make a positive difference

Our centre is a subsidiary of AKA. We are an ECE centre licensed for 50 children, including up to 5 children U2. The centre provides an all-day education and care service.

The role:

Reporting to the area leader, the centre manager is responsible for the people leadership and effective operational management of one of AKA's oldest sites. Our families and community reflect the growing cultural diversity of Tāmaki Makaurau so strengthening community partnerships is at the core of this leadership role.

About you:

This role is suited to an experienced ECE leader who is a positive change agent driven to see effective results. You will have a minimum of 2 years' centre management experience.

Your colleagues describe you as an efficient leader working with your team's strengths, a great mentor, confident communicator, resilient, someone who has strong financial acumen, and is not afraid to have those courageous conversations when needed.

You are customer-centric, lead by example, and build relationships based on respect and trust. It goes without saying you are not afraid to lead change, take accountability for your actions and leadership responsibilities, and you see each experience as a learning opportunity. You are highly organised, and you build teams who are agile, self-sufficient and collaborative.

You are purpose-driven to create a high-performing team providing a high-quality ECE service.

If you are ready to add value and expertise in a new ECE centre, then we want to hear from you.
