The college is looking to appoint an assistant principal to provide highly effective and innovative leadership and to meld rich traditions with programmes which ensure students’ academic, emotional and social readiness for a complex world. The assistant principal will work with the senior leadership team to assist in delivering strong strategic direction, and innovative teaching and learning programmes, focused on fostering enterprise and excellence.
The successful applicant must be recognised as a highly successful curriculum leader or pastoral leader and manager of successful teams from within their current position. They will have experience in leading evaluation, innovation and development in these key areas at a senior level and understand the importance of schoolwide processes and policies. Sound knowledge of and experience in leading curriculum change, quality assessment for learning and reporting of achievement and progress is essential. Demonstrated strength in strategic and reflective thinking, actualising a vision, and building collaborative relationships with staff, students and the community is sought. Applicants should be willing to embrace the special character of our college and to contribute to our co-curricular programme.
