Our centre's teaching and learning practices aim to create an environment where children flourish, where investigation by children (and adults) is a hallmark of the curriculum, and where children and adults demonstrate a passion to explore and learn. You will have the opportunity to work with Dr Anne Meade and Rachel Denee as we evolve our teaching and learning philosophy to be a lighthouse of best practice in ECE.

We are seeking a teacher who is passionate about teaching infants and toddlers in particular, understands and respects the philosophies of Pikler and RIE, and enjoys working within a Reggio-inspired environment. All of our teachers have key teacher relationships with small groups of children. We also offer a renowned Nature Explore programme.

This vacancy is to cover for a teacher taking parental leave and it is therefore for a fixed-term period, although there is some flexibility around the length. We are looking for a qualified teacher but we are flexible with regards to the level of experience. This could be a good role for a teacher returning to the workforce.

How to apply

Applications should be submitted including a 1–2 page cover letter explaining why you want to work for Daisies, together with your CV to Rachel Denee: email racheldenee@gmail.com
