Experienced, qualified ECE teacher
We are an O2s only centre built on a culture of respect where staff, children, parents/caregivers and their extended whānau are treated as whānau.
We are looking for an enthusiastic team player to join our team as a full-time, qualified teacher. We are open to applications from those wishing to work part-time only.
Our team believe very strongly in supporting children's sense of belonging and wellbeing within the centre by fostering ongoing relationships between whānau, children and community. Together we share a wide range of passions and experiences, which are woven into the learning provocations we offer the children.
We are looking for someone who is able to work collaboratively with others to foster our warm, welcoming environment. You will need to be confident, self-motivated, reliable, nurturing, positive, able to build strong positive relationships with children and their whānau, have excellent communication skills, a great attitude and a sense of humour to match!
To be successful in this role you must be qualified and registered. You will be familiar with internal evaluation, programme and activity planning backed by your knowledge of Te Whāriki. Learning stories won’t be a problem, you will be respectful in your practice, passionate and driven to provide children the best days of their lives as part of the team here.
Ideally you will have some experience in working with vulnerable children, you will have knowledge of the Vulnerable Children Act and child protection is paramount to you.
We are also looking for unqualified and qualified relievers.
