  • Our kindergarten has achieved Enviroschools programme Green-Gold status and was runner-up in the recent Auckland Community Zero Waste Awards, 'Power of the People' category.

One of our team members has moved internally into a head teacher role and this has created a permanent full-time teacher vacancy in our team. So if you are a qualified ECE teacher who wants to join our highly engaged and respected teaching team, we want to hear from you.

Our ideal candidate:

The successful applicant will be a passionate and self-motivated team player who has a view of children as capable and confident learners. You will work collaboratively with the teaching team to create a learning environment that provokes rich learning outcomes for all ākonga.

A deep commitment to bicultural practice and fostering children's culture, language and identity will be important to you. You will have an interest in working in an Enviroschools kindergarten where sustainability is a key focus.

A sense of fun will be woven through all that you do and you will demonstrate a genuine commitment to support all ākonga to strengthen their learner identities. This will require a strong focus on supporting each child's interest, passion and spirit. It will also include a sound understanding of the assessment framework, learning stories and the ability to document quality narrative assessment.

You will view yourself as a lifelong learner who engages in inquiry and is keen to be involved in professional learning opportunities.
