Since January 1972, Kindercare’s team of professional, passionate and heart-centred early years teachers have been keeping the babies, toddlers and preschoolers entrusted to our care Safe…Loved…and Learning.
We have early childhood centres in Auckland, Hamilton, Palmerston North, Wellington and Christchurch, which are open throughout the year, except for statutory holidays and weekends.
Because we’ve been New Zealand owned and operated for over 4 decades, you have the assurance that you are joining a stable market leader, with opportunities to grow and develop a challenging and rewarding career.
We look for more than an early childhood teaching qualification – our team of teachers are intentional, with the ability to respond to children with kindness. They provide creative, fun-filled learning opportunities in an environment where each child knows they are loved and valued.
At Kindercare, teachers matter….so we believe in investing in our team through ongoing professional development, mentoring, and providing a caring, supportive environment that enables you to reach your full potential.
If you are an internationally trained early years teacher, wanting to move to New Zealand to live and work, and are able to apply for teacher registration in New Zealand, we are happy to offer you an interview for a full-time position and to support your work visa application, as well as a relocation package if you are successful (terms and conditions apply).
For more information about whether you meet the criteria for gaining teacher registration in New Zealand, go to: www.educationcouncil.org.nz – see Getting Certified 'For Overseas Teachers' and: www.nzqa.govt.nz – see Recognition of Overseas Qualifications.
