We are looking for somebody with a passion for the mental, physical and emotional wellbeing of our ākonga.

As part of your position you are expected to:

  • Lead the wellbeing programme for the whole school (this includes teachers and students). With a small team you will create a programme, making sure the wellbeing of every member of our school is a priority.

Be part of the school's specialist programme delivering the following:

  • Five hours teaching of healthy and nutritional food programme
  • Five hours of teaching of physical health this can include any organised physical activities focusing on getting students active and learning teamwork strategies)
  • Be part of the PE/sports/health department. This includes administration and management of sports teams schoolwide.

We are looking for a teacher who has a passion for teaching Y7–8 students and brings many and varied extracurricular strengths to the position to benefit our ākonga. We are a friendly, collaborative, energetic and forward-thinking team, who value positive hauora for students and staff.
