We are on the search for a newly registered teacher or teacher-in-training to join our not-for-profit community-based childcare centre. We have a cohesive teaching team that values and acknowledges diversity. We are looking for someone who is passionate about sustainability, inquiry based learning and building respectful authentic relationships. We would offer a supportive platform for you to gain the experience you require as a newly registered teacher or teacher-in-training.

Our Te kaupapa – philosophy: Children’s wellbeing is our priority and we achieve this through providing a happy, comfortable and stimulating environment. Teachers talk with and listen to children and whānau building positive, caring relationships and welcoming each other’s ideas and contributions. Through sharing information, teachers develop detailed knowledge of a child’s identity and the values and beliefs of their whānau. This enables teachers to develop a finely tuned learning programme that leads children forward in their learning and development.
