The kindergarten:

The team at this kindergarten are passionate about creating a warm, respectful environment which actively supports children’s exploration. We nurture a sense of wonder and joyfulness in children’s own learning discoveries through focusing on their interests, while having fun. 

Our large open outdoor area allows space for active movement and is complemented by a spacious and well-resourced indoor play area fully supporting the development of the whole child – cognitively, emotionally, physically, socially and culturally. We are a friendly teaching team committed to developing relationships with our children, family/whānau and the wider community. 

The position:

Our session times are 8.30am–2.30pm, Monday to Friday; this position is for 40 hours per week.

Applicants must hold a:

  • Minimum of Dip Tch (ECE)
  • Full registration
  • Current first aid certificate.

We offer competitive pay rates, 6 weeks’ annual leave and paid professional time during term breaks.
