Te Kupenga o Aranui is an alternative education programme working on the east side of Christchurch.
We work with youth between 13–16 years of age, who have been removed from mainstream because of truancy and/or behavioural problems.
Our goal is to work holistically through education, lifeskills, physical activity and social interaction with their peers.
We are seeking a person who shows understanding, empathy and being flexible to work alongside some of our challenging youth of today.
If you are up to the challenge and have a teaching qualification, whether it is primary or tertiary then this job is for you. You must have knowledge and understanding of NZQA and Unit Standards.
You are paid during the school holidays of terms 2–3. The job could roll into 2020.
