Our association offers strong support and guidance for registering teachers as well as exciting professional development opportunities. This kindergarten is a place for children and adults to learn together through fun and enjoyable experiences. It's an environment where the children lead the programme, and teachers facilitate and extend on their interests.
We provide an inclusive learning environment where each child is treated as an important member of our community of learners. We nurture and develop their uniqueness as individuals with different needs and different styles of learning. This is a place where parents and whānau with their different cultures, beliefs and values are acknowledged and respected.
We have a friendly environment where everyone is treated as a friend, a family member and a co-educator. We develop strong working relationships with our immediate and wider community through school transition programmes, library visits, community events, and excursions.
Our session times are 8.30am–2.30pm, Monday to Friday. This position is a total of 25 hours per week, 4 days per week. Essential hours are: Monday to Thursday 8.15am–12.45pm, the remaining non-contact hours are negotiable.

Applicants must hold a:
- Minimum of Dip Tch (ECE)
- Full/provisional registration
- Current first aid certificate.
We offer competitive pay rates, 6 weeks’ annual leave and paid professional time during term breaks.
