Here at the Parnell Trust we are a non-profit community services provider with more than 30 years' experience in bringing people in our community together. One of the ways we do this is by our 3 early childhood centres across Auckland.
Situated near the beautiful Parnell rose gardens our incredible centre is full of life, vibrancy and love and we are now welcoming a qualified teacher to apply for our O2s position that has just popped up.
Our philosophy is child-led and full of respect and nurture. We have a joint play area with the preschoolers and with this role, you will be required to float between the 2 rooms as necessary, which is a fantastic opportunity to experience all of our older age groups!
We provide for you:
Very high hourly rate compared to the market
A paid day off on your birthday!
A paid half day for Christmas shopping!
Free access to our adult classes – some examples are yoga, pilates, language, cooking, the arts, etc
50% off your own childcare fees for our centre
A lot of potential to extend your career into management with more than 1 centre available
A really cohesive, fun and supportive team.
Interested? Here's what you'll need:
First and foremost, a love and passion for educating and nurturing our littlies
A Level 7 qualification in teaching or education preferably specialising in early childhood education or primary
A current teaching registration or the application in process.
We have a strong emphasis on nutrition and sustainability so this is a major focus for us as well as helping centres that are less fortunate by providing hot meals for their children.
