About us
We are a not-for-profit, community-based childcare centre located in central Upper Hutt. We offer a warm and friendly environment that welcomes children and whānau from a range of diverse backgrounds. The centre has 2 separate buildings and is comprised of a nursery for infants and toddlers up to two years of age, and a preschool for children O2s.
About the role
We are looking for an experienced, passionate and innovative centre manager to lead our team.
Our ideal candidate will have:
The position involves managing the day-to-day operations of the centre, working closely with the governing trust to achieve strategic priorities and taking on an active role in the education of children. The centre has strong practices in place around biculturalism, sustainability and inquiry, and persistently aims to provide a curriculum that involves parents/whānau and the wider community.
The centre manager will have a significant role in supporting the existing centre culture as well as an exciting opportunity to influence future changes to promote children’s learning.
