Do you have a passion for working with students with special needs? We are looking for a CRT teacher to join our team.

The ideal applicant will have an area of expertise or passion (e.g. music) and have the skills and ability to plan and deliver that programme during the scheduled slots in each classroom. Having a passion and enthusiasm for bringing fun and learning together, alongside your knowledge and experience of working with students with autism and complex needs would be an asset.

This position is an itinerant one across the school including satellites covering CRT. The position could be full-time or part-time.

We are a new school formed by the merger of Carlson and Sunnydene Special Schools. We provide quality education for students with intellectual disabilities, many of whom may also have a range of complex physical, sensory, and behavioural needs. Our students are aged between 5–21 years and are funded through the Ongoing Resource Scheme funding (ORS).

Our school has 21 classrooms which include a base school and satellite classes which are located across Central Auckland.
