We have a vacancy for an experienced special educator who will be able to bring our vision of 'Inspiring engagement – Realising Potential' to life. You will have a strong pedagogical base and be able to model this in your classroom as well as support other teachers within your team in a 'learning leader' role. You will be ready to act in a coaching capacity, have commitment to collaboration and bring with you a strong curriculum focus.

We are a new school formed by the merger of Carlson School for Cerebral Palsy and Sunnydene Special School. We provide quality education for students with intellectual disabilities, many of whom may also have a range of complex physical, sensory, and behavioural needs. Our students are aged between 5–21 years and are funded through Ongoing Resource Scheme funding (ORS).

Our school has 21 classrooms which includes a base school and satellite classes which are located across Central Auckland.
