Are you an experienced qualified teacher looking for a new challenge for 2019? Come and be part of our established home-based service.

We are seeking a visiting teacher who also has a passion for and understanding of marketing within the home-based sector to support the growth of our established services.

As a visiting teacher you will work with our home-based educators throughout the Waikato providing professional leadership, training and induction of new educators to ensure high-quality education and care for tamariki.

Alongside providing leadership for our educators you will initiate marketing ideas and a growth plan to support recruitment of educators and childcare enquiries.

To excel in this role you will need:

  • Experience in the home-based sector or willingness to take on a new challenge
  • A recognised ECE teaching qualification
  • A current full practising certificate
  • Experience mentoring and leading adults
  • A sound understanding of current early learning pedagogical practice
  • A good understanding of relevant legislation
  • A genuine desire to see children thrive
  • Self-motivation and a positive focused approach
  • Sound planning and organisational skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and online communication skills
  • A current first aid certificate and a clean full NZ driver’s licence
  • Marketing experience within the sector
  • Innovative thinker about business growth
  • Futuristic and proactive
  • A team player who can bring their skills and experience to add to our kete of knowledge.
