We have an opportunity for a knowledgeable and passionate qualified registered early childhood educator to join our team of talented early childhood professionals.
In this exciting and rewarding role, you will be working with a range of ages in a caring, nurturing and supportive environment. Your primary role will be creating a safe, play-based and child-led learning environment for our children. You will also assist the head teacher from time to time with the day-to-day operations of the centre, and undertake supervisory tasks as required ensuring that a high standard of customer service is provided by all staff members. The role will see you working 35 hours a week rostered Monday to Friday between the hours 8.30am–4pm.
Naturally you’ll have a genuine warmth, care and passion for children. You will be committed to providing quality education, have strong knowledge of child-led play and hold a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education. You will have brilliant written and verbal communication skills and will have the ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of people from our local community but most importantly enjoy having fun, getting messy and being involved in child-led learning and play!
You will be working with a team of amazing and talented early childhood educators who are passionate about children, their community and who love making a difference in helping to make Auckland a vibrant place to live, work and play.
