We are an independent boys' boarding school with an Anglican tradition, catering for boys from families experiencing financial or personal hardship. We pride ourselves on achieving very strong academic, cultural and sporting results, and assisting our boys in becoming the very best that they can be.
The senior campus (Y10–13) based in Epsom is seeking to fill a full-time position as learning support teacher. This will suit an experienced practitioner who is confident working alongside young people with a wide range of learning needs. They will be based at the senior campus, but will also liaise with learning support colleagues at the junior and rural campuses.
Candidates must be comfortable using technology to supplement their teaching and be willing to work with small groups and one on one, both in their own classroom and alongside subject teachers. They will understand current learning support practices and will partner academic and pastoral staff in providing information, statistics, support and insight on the boys with whom they work. A high level of empathy with a desire to assist young people with learning challenges and to treat each boy individually, helping them to achieve a sense of success and accomplishment, are essential qualities in this person.
A commitment to the corporate life and special character of the school will be conditions of employment.
A competitive remuneration package will be negotiated.
