- Use your knowledge of Te Whāriki 2017 and internal review to lead learning to engage and inspire teachers' aspirations and practice for ongoing excellence
- 40 hours per week.
Reporting to our professional practice manager, the curriculum specialist works in collaboration with the area leader and teaching teams to build capability in curriculum delivery and promote excellent outcomes for our children. You will encourage and support collaborative curriculum innovation, effective evaluation, and the achievement of educational excellence.
This role is primarily based at our Queen Street office but requires travel to our kindergarten teaching teams. Please note there is access to our pool cars for this purpose.
A fully registered teacher with a current practising certificate, you are a confident communicator with a warm and approachable personality. You will utilise your skills in how adults learn to facilitate and present. Your colleagues describe you as a collaborative team player who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and go the extra mile to get the job done.
In addition to your fun, energetic, can-do personality, you have extensive knowledge and experience of Te Whāriki 2017, and are passionate about embedding an inquiry approach to teaching and learning. Your experience in delivering best practice pedagogy, understanding of internal and external evaluation, and strong digital literacy, will see you succeed in this role.
A NZ full driver’s licence is an essential requirement.
