We are looking for an AWESOME, creative, energetic, passionate ECE visiting teacher with great leadership skills to join our team in the South Taranaki region. Is that you?

Children are the centre point of all that we do, they are 'our treasures for tomorrow' – 'ā tātou taonga mo āpōpō'. We look for people with integrity, passion and commitment to excellence in all aspects of our service, as we strive to give the best quality to our children, whānau and home based Educators. We recognise and value the importance of relationships between staff, our Educators, children, whanau and wider community. Christian values underpin all that is PAUA.

You will be an early childhood teacher with an ability to build strong relationships with children and adults. Have the knack to inspire others (our home-based educators and their children) which will in turn enhance their educational learning opportunities.

You’ll be a leader, creative, flexible, full of energy and passionate about making a difference in early childhood and within your community. Enjoy communicating and marketing; have good time management and ICT skills. A knowledge and passion for Te Reo Māori and/or other languages would be an advantage.

Your role is many, varied and flexible! But in a given month your role will include the following:

  • Visiting children in Educators' homes, providing support and resources
  • Writing photographic learning stories for your children and Educators after each visit
  • Helping parents who are looking for childcare
  • Enrolling Homebased Educators
  • Organising Playgroups and Community Outings
  • Marketing/promoting PAUA in your community
  • Having a lot of fun with a great team!

Experience in a similar role would be fantastic…. But your attitude and values are the most important factors for us. So… if after reading this you are keen to apply, email Raewyn for application forms and full job description.
