We are looking for a 2iC who is creative, caring, energetic and loves to have a laugh. We would love someone who has a passion for building long-lasting relationships with children, parents, caregivers, and colleagues.
Having sound knowledge of implementing a curriculum of inquiry through play would be useful, along with knowledge of how loose parts support children’s learning.
If you love sustainability, that’s a bonus, as we are getting new gardens to grow and harvest produce, and would love some green fingers on our team.
You will be working with a supportive, hard-working team of ladies, supporting them to professionally learn and grow.
With a newly built playground about to be constructed and new resources about to be purchased, you will have a great environment to support children’s learning and development through a play-based curriculum.
An ideal candidate will have:
Previous leadership experience
Be organised with good time management skills
Knowledge of info care
Know Ministry of Education requirements
