Our centre is based in Auckland and is looking for a coordinator/visiting teacher.  

Looking for a change in 2019! Look no further

The successful applicant must be fluent in English language as your primary goal will be to build your clientele within our communities

You will be required to plan and implement ECE curriculum with our team of coordinators and visit the educators and children each week.  Previous experience working with a home based ECE provider is preferred but not essential. You must be a fully qualified and registered teacher, hold a clean driver’s licence, working 30 hours per week increasing to 40 hours later on.

We are seeking an individual who is competent, love to work within a multi diverse team/communities, someone who has a flare for growth and has a good understanding of being a team player, reliable and trustworthy, communicates with confidence, does more than asked, adapts quickly and easily, displays genuine commitments, listens actively, bring in new knowledge and ideas for self/team growth, problem-solver, treats others in respectful and supportive manner and who exhibits flexibility

You will be working in the wider Auckland region, so this will suit someone who is willing to travel for work.  

Key duties:

  • Professionalism

  • Teaching and administration work

  • Daily programs and planning

  • Weekly visits to educators

  • Written reports

  • Organise playgroups and event fortnightly

  • Learning stories

  • Support and mentor educators

  • Promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social learning of children

  • Establish relationships based on respect and trust to enhance learning

  • Communication with parents and whānau

  • Professional development

  • Health and safety checks for the homes

  • Filing of documentations

  • Projects and other duties

  • Package include company car, cell & laptop

Position commences end of January.
