Our very well-respected kaiako is retiring, so we are looking for a kaiako to work in our rumaki class. You will need to have sound knowledge and experience in teaching Te Marautanga O Aotearoa. As well as being a fluent te reo speaker, you must have ability to teach the local dialect and have an understanding of Ngai Te Rangitanga. The ability to build positive relationships with tamariki, whānau, hapu and iwi is essential. As part of a dual-medium school, we also require someone who will work collaboratively with their mainstream colleagues. In return you will be well supported by our committed and friendly staff.
