We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic head teacher to lead our team.

We are looking for an exceptional leader who values the unique identity of the centre and who will be focused on leading a team to achieve the best learning outcomes for children. 

You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, value and respect the cultural diversity of all families enrolled and have the mentoring and coaching skills to support a team of teachers. 

We are looking for a fully certified (registered) person with proven management experience, with a strong understanding of the Te Whāriki curriculum and an understanding of appropriate curriculum assessment and evaluation practices. 

You will have an ongoing commitment to growth as a leader and to the growth and development of our business. Along with this will come strong organisational skills that allow for good business practice. 

 The successful applicant will have:

This is the first time this position has become available in 7 years and as such will be highly sought after. The varied responsibilities will bring with it great reward.

We are licensed for 50 children aged 2–5 years and open 7.30am–5.30pm. The centre has a friendly home-like environment with great indoor and outdoor spaces to explore. The centre is part of a range of services provided by the Liberty Impact Community Trust which has a vision of 'Releasing Hope–Transforming Lives', and is closely connected to Liberty Church.
