Our kindergarten is currently looking for ECE qualified and fully certificated teachers, from January until December 2019.
We are passionate about the role of children's play in developing meaningful learning experiences. We work alongside children to encourage and inspire them to explore their interests and pursue the ideas that capture their imaginations. We are inclusive of the diversity that children and their families bring and value developing relationships that are responsive, reciprocal and respectful.
We are looking for teachers who are passionate educators, who consistently strive to achieve the best learning outcomes for children. You will have a positive and confident outlook, with a warm and respectful approach to your practice and relationships with children, their whānau and the local community. You will be a team player whose task-focused and highly organised approach is reflected by your commitment to our shared journey. You must have a strong knowledge of Te Whāriki, planning, assessment and internal review processes, as well as the ability to produce meaningful and authentic documentation that reflects the child and their learning. You will share the organisation's commitment to the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi, informing and leading bicultural practice. You will also value the use of ICT as a teaching tool, utilising a range of available technological resources to extend children's learning and improve teaching practice.
