We are a private, family-owned centre in Hastings. We have a strong focus on nature, healthy lifestyles, manaakitanga, taha tinana, whanaungatanga, mana and kaitiakitanga.

Our centre is purpose-built with a large natural outdoor environment for our tamariki to explore.

Our infant room has 12 infants and 3 teachers and uses a primary caregiving system. 

We are looking for:

  • A warm, caring, compassionate teacher with respectful practice
  • Strength in te reo and tikanga Māori 
  • Knowledge of the Pikler/RIE philosophy
  • An interest in music would be an advantage
  • A confident communicator, able to make strong relationships with our tamariki, whānau and team
  • An effective team player
  • Well organised and proactive.

The successful applicant will be required to work three 8-hour days: Thursday, Friday plus one other day.
