We are seeking a passionate and dynamic centre manager who can assist in the opening and operation of our new centre in January 2019.

Our new centre manager will be someone who can uphold and support our commitment to the Treaty of Waitangi, Te Whāriki, and the Educare vision of Learn, Laugh, and Play.

You will find our new early childhood centre located in the new Waimak Junction development. With excellent indoor and outdoor facilities planned, the centre will provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to grow socially competent. You will need an ECE teaching qualification, full NZ teacher registration and a strong knowledge of current ECE practices and Ministry regulations. You will be responsible for day-to-day running of the centre, including centre enrolments, developing relationships with whānau and the Kaiapoi community, coaching and mentoring your team and ensuring our excellent standards of education and care are met.

Being family-owned and family-oriented, Educare is passionate about actively supporting staff to continually grow, both personally and professionally. On top of our competitive salary package, we also offer ongoing subsidised professional development, payment support for teacher certification and 50% of childcare costs at any Educare centre.

Interviews for this role will be held in mid-October.

Educare completes worker safety checks on all its employees. Current and up-to-date knowledge of the Vulnerable Children’s Act and child protection is a requirement.
