Educator / learning facilitator / Pou Arahi
We are a designated character school for male secondary students, from Y11–13. Located in the beautiful Hawke's Bay, the academy has a focus on providing a link between education and future employment through vocational pathways. The academy operates small class sizes, and has a very supportive staff environment, including strong pastoral care support for students.
We are seeking a passionate, positive and engaging registered teacher to join our learning community. The successful applicant will be enthusiastic about working with youth and have the skills and mindset to facilitate all manner of learning with predominantly Māori and Pasifika students. Ideally the applicant will be familiar with NCEA and specialising in any one or combination of STEM, NCEA English, te reo, digital tech, business.
Other desirable attributes include fluency in a second language, confidence in using a range of digital platforms and apps, and experience with individual learning plans.
